RODDIE ROMERO & the HUB CITY ALL STARS are a renowned, Grammy nominated Louisiana band who have been performing worldwide at the most prestigious festivals and venues for over 20 years. This premier Louisiana band is celebrated not only for their authenticity when performing or recording traditional Cajun and Creole music indigenous to South Louisiana, but also for their original songwriting which stays true to Louisiana inspirations. They have recently garnered a GRAMMY nomination for their double record, “The La Louisianne Sessions”.  They are notorious "Louisiana-Roots-Rockers" who put on an energetic show which is bound to make everyone get up and dance!

Chad Viator

 The key to Chad Viator's talent on guitar is knowing just exactly what to play - which is the sign of a tasteful, mature musician who plays with his heart.  He is a New Iberia, LA native and Lafayette resident who has been playing guitar with the HCAS for over 5 years.  He has a diverse ear and the ability to play soulfully regardless of the style of music.  He attacks the HCAS' original "Louisiana Roots" tunes with Rock 'n' Roll prowess and switches gears on Cajun classics to sound like a rockin' pedal steel player in a 1950's bayou dancehall.

Chris French

 

When it comes to all things “Bass”, Bayou Blue native and Lafayette resident Chris French has it covered! – Whether he’s on his vintage Fender bass guitar, 100+ year old upright string bass, or even on rare occasion - his tuba!  Chris joined the Hub City All Stars 4+ years ago and hasn’t looked back since.  He jumped in with an unprecedented fervor to authentically reproduce the vintage bass patterns of Cajun and Creole music.

Eric Adcock

As one of Louisiana's most rockin' piano pounders, you can count on  ERIC ADCOCK to put on a great show. Raised in Lafayette, and  calling Abbeville, LA home, he credits great blues and boogie-woogie  pianists Professor Longhair, Dr. John and Jerry Lee Lewis as sources  of inspiration. Adcock began playing the piano at age five and began  formal lessons at five-and-a-half.

Jermaine Prejean

Jermaine Prejean, is the newest member of the Hub City All Stars and an important addition to the band’s celebrated sound. He is responsible for driving the band’s rhythm section - laying down a diverse mixture of monster grooves, from the swing of 1950’s Cajun and Zydeco, to the complex polyrhythms of New Orleans style drumming. He is an “old soul” and it is his ability to keep all sounds and grooves soulful which separates him from the rest as one of the best drummers around. He approaches each song with his own feel, making sure to not just create beats, but to color each song with the unique tones he conjures out of each drum – the sign of a master drummer.
